I was an October bride (1998) and I went with copper as the color for my bridesmaids dresses. I built my color palette around that. I love the tiara choices! My favorite is the one in the bottom right. However, the style of the dress you chose is what ultimately dictates which tiara fits it best. I’m excited to see the full look on your special day! Congrats on choosing the dress! Have you thought about shoes yet?
I super co-sign so much of this!! I got married 2 years ago and the best decision I made was to ignore the "standards" of the wedding industry and do what I liked. That included the biggest thing I could co-sign - mismatched bridesmaids! I gave them a color I wanted them in and the direction of "its a black tie optional wedding - look and feel amazing" and they all were in different dresses (Heck, my MOH was in a lace jumpsuit and velvet suit jacket!) and I loved the look. Also strong recommend if you decide to do a hair down style - ask your hair stylist (if you use one) to teach your MOH how to pin it up if you get hot at your reception. I pinned mine back after dinner and it was so much more comfortable. Just remember, its about you and Mr. Of Fact! Don't let the "wedding" of it all take away from that! Still be you! I can't wait to see how it all turns out - your taste is amazing (I almost always agree with your royal fashion takes) and I know it'll all be so lovely!
I also got my wedding dress at David's Bridal over 25 years ago (ouch). And I Heartily endorse having bridesmaids wear dresses they pick out! I told my bridesmaids to pick any dress, make it blue, and send me a swatch or a photo if they could. We used the bouquets (hydrangeas, my favorite) to tie the shades of blue together. Looked fabulous and everyone wore a dress they liked. You're going to have a fabulous wedding - congratulations!
I may not always agree with your Royal commentary but am fascinated and excited looking at your ideas and no-no's.
What a rich colour palette for an Autumnal celebration.
Absolutely gorgeous.
Thank you for sharing ! So exciting to ride along with you.
