I've always found it interesting that Queen Victoria got her given name because the Prince Regent prohibited his brother from giving her one of the more common royal names like Charlotte or Elizabeth. It seems so odd that Victoria came from her German mother, considering how British it feels nowadays.
Eugénie is definitely a favorite! I do hope for more diversity is girl names specifically, as there are less options. I hope in the future there will be more Alexandra’s, Victoria’s, and even Catherine’s - especially since there will be a future Queen Catherine.
Why do you have different names listed as George’s middle names than the ones announced and on his birth certificate? Also I completely agree about the name Eugenie.

This was so fascinating. Thank you, Amanda!

I must have copied from the wrong George!! His full name is George Alexander Louis. Thanks for the heads up!
Haha ok! I saw the Frederick listed for him and was like this isn’t Denmark
