I don’t work in the nonprofit world but I do work in the legal field. We love paper too. There are ways to track mail deliveries with the USPS. Priority mail or certified mail with a return receipt. I still send physical checks this way to ensure they don’t get lost in the mail. And once it’s been received get confirmation my attorney’s status will be updated.
With the updates that came out after we recorded, it was clarified that the check *was* received, it was just improperly processed by the Charities office.

Meredith the same thing happened to me when I tried to update my license post-marriage in a new state! Thank god NJ and PA are close. What a pain!!!!
